Oral Care Spray:

Ingredients:
100% all natural distilled water, grain alcohol, proprietary blend of extracts and oils including: grapefruit seed extract, grape seed extract, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, thyme oil & neem oil.

Initial Directions: Spray in pet's mouth 1 to 2 times per day - For heavy build-up apply twice daily. Evening is best before bedtime. Spray directly on the largest area of tartar. You will notice your pet licking their lips repeatedly. This helps mix the spray with your pet’s saliva and the natural ingredients will coat all surfaces of your pet’s teeth and gums.

• Pet under 12 lbs. - 2 sprays (one on each side of pet’s mouth is recommended)
• Pet 12 lbs. to 35 lbs. - 3 sprays
• Pet 35 lbs to 60 lbs. - 3 sprays
• Large breeds - 5 to 6 sprays

Ingredients:

NOTE: The naturally occuring pink color of the gel is from red grapefruit seed extract.

Initial Directions:  Apply with your finger or with a soft "finger brush" style toothbrush. You may notice your pet licking their lips repeatedly. This helps mix the gel with your pet’s saliva, and the natural ingredients will coat all surfaces of your pet’s teeth and gums.

Small dogs & cats (10 lbs. and under) = 1/4 tsp. (about 96 applications per bottle)
Medium dogs = 1/2 tsp. (about 48 applications per bottle)
Large breeds = 1 tsp. (about 24 applications per bottle)

Allow no food or water for 1/2 hour before and after application. Brushing every third day enhances results. 

During the first month: If you have a pet with heavy plaque and tarter build-up, apply first thing in the morning and again in the evening. You should start noticing positive changes after just one week. If applying with a brush, a "soft" or finger brush is recommended. The brushing action removes the plaque and tartar that has been softened by the ingredients in the gel.

After a short time you should notice that the area at the gum line is free from plaque and the gums are looking healthier. When this occurs, harmful bacteria are now blocked from entering your pet’s bloodstream and you can reduce to one application per day.

Directions for Maintenance: After 30 days when most or all of the build-up has been removed, you can reduce to one application every 2nd or 3rd day. Your pet’s plaque and tartar should not return with this recommended usage.

How long will it take to work?

The results with your pet will depend on how closely you follow the directions, the age of your pet, and the current condition of your pet's teeth. You should notice a disappearance of tarter and plaque between the tooth and the gum line and a reduction in redness within the first few weeks of application. If there is a large build-up of plaque, the last area that will disappear is toward the center of the tooth.

How do I know it is working?

You will know Petzlife Oral Care is working when the tartar begins to leave the area between the gum line and the teeth. When the gum area is tartar free, it is no longer a breeding ground for harmful bacteria that can go directly into your pet’s bloodstream. The last area to become tartar free is the middle of your pet’s teeth. You will also notice that your pet’s breath will be much fresher.

Are there any side effects?

None! The only thing you will notice is that your pet will lick their lips repeatedly after you spray and after application. This natural reaction helps coat your pet’s teeth and gums.


Tips for Picky Pets:

Do you have a picky or particular pet? There are great ways to use PetzLife products without stress, conflict, or time-consuming brushing!

Tips for Particular Canines:  One trick that works well is to put some gel on a saucer or plate and mix in a dab of peanut butter. Dogs love peanut butter, and they lick the mixture and it coats their entire mouth and gums. The peanut butter is digested, and the product is left in their mouth - this is very effective at bed time. Keep all other food and water away and it will work its magic all night long! Pet owners have sprayed their dog's favorite chew toy or bone and this has worked for them. For small dogs, just put a dab of gel on your dog's lips and they will lick it into their mouth, doing the application work for you!

Tips for Fussy Felines: For cats gel works the best. Use the spray or gel on a favorite treat or mix in a dab of fish oil, liver paste or other favorite snacks that your cat likes. Another strategy is to dab some gel on the top of their paw, and they should lick it right into their mouth, doing the application work for you!

Remember, direct application is best with no dilution and with occasional brushing, but these methods have been known to work.
